Our Costa Rica Arleen Maria Honey single origin coffee comes from sisters Arleen and Maria Jimenez in Tarrazu, Leon Cortes. Together with their father, they’ve spent the last several years running Beneficio La Angostura, a family-run mill built through decades of work and persistence. Passionate about learning and deeply involved in coffee processing, the sisters bring a thoughtful and forward-looking energy to every lot they produce.
Grown at 1,650 masl from Caturra varietals, this medium roast undergoes a honey process that brings warmth, structure, and clarity to the cup. Expect notes of green apple, kumquat, and cashew nut, with bright fruit opening the cup before settling into a soft nutty sweetness that carries through the finish. A coffee that reflects the family’s years of dedication to both farming and milling.
