But before we started roasting cosmic-level cups, we were just two brothers chasing inspiration — and a perfect cup of coffee.
From a spark to a roastery
Our story begins in 2007, when co-founders Felix and Won Cha met specialty coffee for the first time—down under, in Australia. It was curiosity at first sip. That spark followed them back to Canada, where they opened a small café and roaster in midtown Toronto in 2013.
More than a café, the space quickly became a community and a creative lab. A place where people came for the coffee and stayed for the feeling.

We work closely with producers we trust—often year after year—to build consistency, share knowledge, and support quality from the ground up.
We believe in transparency. That means sharing real numbers and stories to honour the people and work behind every bag.
To us, quality goes beyond a cupping score. It includes how a coffee is grown, who grows it, and the impact we’re all making along the way.
