Our Hojicha (Roasted Matcha) is the perfect, comforting tea. This deeply soothing powder is crafted by roasting high-quality tea leaves before grinding them into a fine powder. This transforms both the flavour and aroma to create a cozy drink that is entirely different from traditional matcha. Hojicha offers a rich, smoky, and nutty profile with a hint of cocoa and a naturally smooth finish. Because the roasting process naturally reduces the caffeine content, this tea is gentle enough to enjoy later in the day. How to Enjoy Hojicha Powder at Home

1. Prep: Warm your bowl and briefly warm the tips of your bamboo whisk with hot water. Pour out the water and wipe the bowl dry.

2. Scoop: Add two scoops (1.5–2g) of Hojicha powder and pour in 50ml of water heated to 80°C.

3. Whisk: Hold the bowl firmly and whisk the powder by moving the bamboo whisk back and forth in small motions until a fine layer of foam appears.

4. Finish: Give the tea a final, slow whisk in a circular motion, then lift the whisk straight up from the center.
